More Istokpoga

For the last couple of days I have spent my afternoons fishing on Lake Istokpoga in Lake Placid, Florida.  I have always loved how water plays with the horizon and the plains like landscapes of water.

Flowers

One thing I have always loved about Florida are the constantly blooming beautiful flowers.

Point and Shoot

So, as part of recovering my creativity, I am trying to take at least 20 pictures a day.  So far, I am just using a little Cannon SD1000 Digital Elf, but I am surprising myself with some of the images that I am getting.  I recently discovered the digital macro setting.  I captured this little guy…well not little, about the size of a quarter, on a long walk I took last week.

Current Comfort..

So here it is my first post.  I have recently had a rather traumatic change in my life and my current comfort is…Betty.  She is such a wonderful spunky little creature and incredibly adaptive.  She has taken to the retirement lifestyle in Florida quite well.  We go fishing, take boat rides, go on walks and spend way to much time in bed.

I will try to post everyday, though I am not sure who will read  them at first, I know it will be a comfort for me to create them.
